I feel like the lobby could've been brighter and more welcoming, and the elevators seemed a little finicky. The room was large and clean, but also very dimly lit which wasn't very pleasant.

The room definitely needed to be updated. It was a spacious room but the furniture look like it was from the 1970s. The floor was not level. It had little strips of flooring that made the floor uneven. The head of security gave us the wrong directions to the surrounding restaurants. And the valet parking was very expensive. We won't be going back.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We definitely enjoyed the bars and restaurants in the area. We took Uber to several places out of the area so we could enjoy more of Cleveland. All in all, it was a very enjoyable stay.

The building is historic so the elevator is unique/old and the rooms are huge but not modern. They are updated to the best that they can be and are overall very clean but not comparable feel to a brand new hotel. The associate at check-in had a little bit of attitude but was fine. My son forgot a toothbrush and they had some free items on hands, which was nice. Not a bad place to stay for one of the most reasonable options downtown Cleveland with a short walk to the restaurant district very nearby.

This is more about Expedia.. a credit card was needed for a 50 dollar incidental fee . I am currently cash or online transactions only. Did not know a credit card would be needed. Luckily I was traveling with a friend who helped me out. Otherwise I would not have been able to check in or have the room I reserved and paid for.

The room was way bigger than I expected. I tried to use the hair dryer attached to the wall but it was not functional. I didn’t see the other one hanging on the door until much later. Valet was a mess. When checking out we were told the wait for valet was 30 minutes. We were offered to bypass if we wanted by going to pick up our vehicle, which we chose to do. The gentleman then walked so fast we couldn’t keep up as we had a lot of bags. Another group said that the floor our car would be on was written on the top of the ticket but ours said OMM? We had to go into every floor and found ours in a dark corner. It was frustrating.

Excellent location downtown. Easy walks to R&R HoF and the baseball field. Funky building, shows its age, but not shabby (except the elevator, which was vintage and looked it). Friendly staff. Huge room (double) with wonderful high ceilings. Breakfast and fitness rooms were basic, but served their function fine. Good value. Would stay again.
