When we first walked into our room, we could smell mold. I looked in the bathroom and the wall behind the door was the source of it, there was quite a bit. After going back to the front desk to complain, they gave us another room, barely an apology.

Lovely pool (both indoor and outdoor) area. Neat grounds. Staff was lovely, and the Breakfast Buffett is truly the best hotel breakfast offering I've ever experienced! But the rooms were pretty in need of some TLC, particularly the bathroom floor tiles and ancient ventilation therein. A renovation should be in order, but otherwise a great stay!

Night of little sleep

Our room had bed bugs in it. I squished it on the hotel note pad and called the front desk. The lady on duty was great. She told me to come to the office right away. We packed up our stuff and I pray we did not bring home any bed bugs. We was given a new room. It smelled funny and the beds were very uncomfortable. We did not sleep much at all because now were was freaking out there was bugs in this room too. The employees were all a first class crew. Everyone was super friendly. I told my boss about the experience and she was in disbelief that our money was not returned and the night comped for the fact we killed a big fat bed bug in our room.

It's a good place to stay. The breakfast is good and consistent. We stay here 3 times a year. Indoor pool and hot tube are the draw plus a good free breakfast. Great for a staycation with the family. Great value for money especially for families. The people make it enjoyable. Very friendly and accommodating. They are also no nonsense but in a good way!
