Thank you for your review.

This was our third stay with them and a complimentary sparkling with a welcome back note was a very sweet gesture from resort. We love the location and the staff here... I also arranged a surprise beach side romantic dinner for my partner, though the service was good but we think the location where they do the table setup could be better. Will definitely come back here.

The highlight was seeing a wallaby playing with it's offspring in the early morning outside the cottage.

Lovely resort with beautiful rainforest everywhere you look. The pictures on the website don’t do the grounds justice, it’s stunning (and there are wallabies running around the place too). Rooms comfortable, if a little dated, but clean and with all the amenities you’d want. Make sure you have dinner at the beach shack, it’s got to be one of the best spots in the Cairns area.

Piece of paradise

Kewarra beach resort is located well away from cairns making it very peaceful It has a clean well maintained pool but the rest of the facilities are in need of some repair and maintenance. The staff service is average and the restaurant certainly not worth the visits we experienced. However the stay was still enjoyable

Well appointed rain forest /beach resort

Pros: See above
Cons: Not a lot really
Location: See above
A very pleasant place to stay in relative quiet but handy to an active beach scene at the 'shack' Great meals in the resort and yummy pizzas supplied with a wide array of drinks, and a band with dancing on the beach. Helpful staff and well appointed place to stay situated in the rain forest .Lots of wildlife just at your verandah edge but well protected living areas ensure that you can see it all without the bad guys or bities coming in. rooms are comfortable, clean and well appointed. Lots of tours around the area available from the helpful people at the front desk. Recommend the trip by train and sky train from Keranda; a visit to Cape Tribulation into the upper rain forests and a trip to the outer reef for a swim and dive with the fish, along with walks along the local beach, adjacent to the resort's restaurant.. Really enjoyed our stay at Kewarra Beach Resort. Sad to be back at work.

Awesome location, relaxing holiday

Pros: The tropical feel. You could of been anywhere in the world!
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect.
Location: Location was an easy 25 minute drive from Cairns airport. Day trips to Cairns and Port Douglas were lovely, so close.
Would recommend this resort! Great atmosphere, so close to the beach, awesome accommodation, romantic. Hotel staff were fantastic. Great meals at the restaurant, compliments to the chef. Wish the holiday went longer! Would definitely go again.

A very nice resort style hotel

Pros: Overall atmosphere and the setting, quiet and peaceful
Cons: Bedding is a little old and mattresses are quite soft, towels not really up to high quality standard but adequate
Location: A long way out of town, set in a rain forest, right on the beach, very quiet and peaceful
Modest bungalow style cabins set amongst the rain forest but situated right on the beach, restaurant very nice and open, staff quite helpful and friendly, situated on the northern beaches a fair way out of town, but very relaxing

Thank you for your comments - we love our peaceful area right on the beach. Cairns itself is around a 25 / 30 minute drive and we have a local bus stop not far from the resort, or we can organise rental cars. Further to your comments about the bed - we have new beds, they are only around 1 year old with plush toppers, which hopefully made you sleep well. Hope to see you again in the future.
