Arrived on New Years Day (Friday) reception wasn’t open til 12 so now where to leave luggage, returned and checked in for an 8 night stay, went up to room where a note on the door stated the gas top was not working, identified the tv also did not work snd neither did the oven! We were told nothing could be done for the oven until the Monday someone came in on the Sunday to “fix” the tv, we got two channels. The stove top was looked at on the Wednesday and oven never worked! Place was t as advertised! We were advised we would move rooms via text over the weekend but it never occurred. The couch was torn with previous guest crumbs in it and tissues tucked down the side, bedside tables covered in dust, grout in tiling doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned since the place was built, grime all through shower. Our booking was for 5, with two bowls it made it difficult to eat cereal for breakfast together (we couldn’t make bacon and eggs because the stove top didn’t work!) we requested bowls abs were told they would be sent up, surprise surprise they never arrived! Would recommend paying a bit more and staying somewhere that provides the items advertised abs service you would expect! Upside is that because we couldn’t cook in the apartment we found some great restaurants in Brisbane. Definitely would not recommend.
