Very pleasant staff. Inn was close to the beaches, and the excellent Bridport Walking Track, plus the local shops and cafes. We had a meal at the Inn, Fish for me, Steak for him. Food tasted fresh, delicious and was cooked to perfection. We would definitely stay here again when we get a chance to get back to Bridport.

Perhaps News Years Eve was the wrong time to to a budget motel the experience was unpleasant. Given the date I am prepared to allow some leeway but. The band in the hotel which was adjacent to the rooms appeared to continue to provide music well beyond their advertised 12.30 finish. Adjacent guests decided to continue their celebrations into the early hours - at two o'clock I asked the group of eight or ten grouped just about outside our talking loudly and having noisy music making equipment of some kind to have some consideration for other guests but although one or two of them apologised and the music went down/off within five minuted they resumed the noisy conversations (4 at once it seemed) and continued until 4 am. At that time someone with some authority - I am assuming police given the sound of the instructions/requests issued - arrived and told them there had been complaints and asked them to disperse. They reasonably quickly dispersed to their rooms but while the music stopped the conversations continued in the same loud tones which (given the limited separation of the rooms and definitely no sound proofing) clearly penetrated at least adjacent rooms. Those conversations continued for up to another hours at which stage we were able to get a little sleep.. not impressed at the failure of management to monitor and deal with such unsociable behaviour. Has it not been reasonably obvious that the offenders had left on NY Day we would have cancelled our second night
