Nestled in the Moonridge area and with over 3,600 square feet of living space, this 5-bedroom, two-story home offers the perfect home base! A large second-story deck features tree-lined mountain views, a private hot tub, and a propane barbecue. This custom-built property is within 0.5 miles of Bear Mountain Ski Resort, plus it’s just a short drive to Big Bear Lake (fishing and boating) and loads of other fun activities.

This vacation home was freshly remodeled using high-end fixtures and upgrades, including two large gas water heaters and dimmable LED lighting to set any mood. Two of the bedrooms have private bathrooms (one of which has dual shower heads and controls). The giant “dorm style” bedroom with 5 separate beds and a huge bathroom provides a mini hideaway retreat. There's also an amazing massage chair, and every bedroom has a large TV.

The massive great room style, open-concept upper level seamlessly combines the living room, dining areas, card-game area, and kitchen. Relax on comfortable sofas and chairs beside the wood-burning fireplace while watching shows on the 75-inch TV.

The brightly-lit kitchen has two full-sized ovens, a large microwave, and an oversized cooktop with a high-powered vent fan. It is fully equipped with tableware, glassware, cookware, bakeware, etc. - very convenient for those who love to cook! For dining or playing games, there’s a 12-seat table, a 6-seat table, and a 4-seat bar built into the kitchen island.

Skiers and snowboarders will appreciate the large heated mudroom with racks for easy gear storage. (This is the perfect place to change boots and wet clothing. Hang your gear here to dry overnight so it does not clutter your bedroom or bathroom.) The adjacent entertaining game room has a Ping-Pong table plus a shuffleboard table and other games.

The property has extra room for trailers on-site if there’s no snow on the ground. For snow lovers, there’s a meadow right next door that makes for a fun snow-play area for the kids when there's enough snow on the ground. Truly, it’s an amazing location for those epic snowball battles you remember as a child! There are two 50 amp outlets on separate circuits to charge 2 EVs at the same time.

EV charging - The two outlets for EV are NEMA 14-50 and are connected to separate 50-amp breakers, so both offer full power. They are not on power conditioners, and the electricity to the house can be unstable. Bring your own 220-volt charge cord.
All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
