The modern, spacious attic apartment in the Alpen-Träumli house invites you to linger: on the spacious balcony (23m2) you can enjoy a wonderful view of Lake Thun and the mountains of the Bernese Oberland with the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The apartment is very quiet. Depending on the season, it is even possible to observe wild animals (deer, foxes, chamois, ibex). The living area is cozy. The visible roof construction and the comfortable armchairs and sofa contribute to this.

Well thought-out architecture: from the garage or the parking space, you can get to the apartment comfortably with the elevator even in bad weather.

Beyond expectations

The Chalet was more than I expected. The views were wonderful. The surroundings were peaceful, and the neighbors were quiet. Everything was clean and easy to find. If I ever come back to Switzerland I would stay here again.

It was amazing!

The chalet was well laid out and had all we needed to enjoy a comfortable stay. The views were amazing and made it hard to want to leave. We used the local bus system and it was very easy to get around. The communication with the owners was great! They would respond immediately to any questions, before and during our trip. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone headed to that area.

A really great appartment. The views were fantastic, watching the different light over the lake and the mountains was lovely. The appartment was one of the best we have stayed in. It had everything we needed and was spacious and clean. The location was great too as it was easy to walk to the cable car to the Niederhorn and to drive to Grindelwald and the two lake shores.

Better than you can imagine

My wife and I and our 2 adult kids thoroughly enjoyed our 7 days here. The view from the huge patio and that same view from the long living room with glass doors is unparalleled. You see several mountain ranges above the entire Lake Thun, with villages along the lake front. Our host recommended a car, which I found to be crucial, though the narrow, winding mountain roads are difficult to drive. Centrally located, incredibly clean, modern, and elegant. We’ll be back!

Exceptional apartment

An exceptional apartment in a glorious location. We were a little uncertain initially driving down the narrow road, but the effort was well rewarded. The apartment was spotlessly clean and has every amenity. And the views from the spacious terrace are amazing. Such a joy to wake up to in the morning and to return to in the evening after a fabulous day sightseeing in the beautiful Bernese-Oberland. Thank you, Urs and Esther for a wonderful stay. Perfect Vacation

You could not ask for a more perfect place to stay. The snow covered mountains, the view of the lake, a large balcony where you can enjoy the sun, and listen to cowbells and birds chirping. A dining table large enough to entertain, a sitting area to enjoy the view. Comfortable living room and lovely kitchen and bathrooms. Can't wait to return!

Wonderful Spring-week stay in Apt. Alpen-Träumli

Having stayed in numerous vacation rentals in the Berner Oberland over the past 20 years, this apartment has to rate among our top three. The location offers a spectacular unobstructed panoramic view of the lake and surrounding mountains. The apartment is very well maintained with no detail lacking. My wife & I definitely plan to return.

This apartment was our absolute favorite. It had everything a family of four needed - and then some. The owners were very quick to respond and easy to communicate with. Getting there was easy and the directions were very clear. We loved staying out of more touristy Interlaken with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do (Schilthorn, Jungfraujoch, St. Beatus Hohlen, etc.). The view never failed to take our breath away. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience.

amazing place with an amazing view

The place is wonderful, a sight that leaves you breathless. Despite being a 15 minute drive on a very winding road from the town of Interlaken the apartment is impeccable, new furniture with fully equipped kitchen, all you need for a perfect stay. Only issue was the check out time, to give time to leave everything in order, especially with children. Ideally to be able to stay at least until, noon. But I would stay here again.

The chalet was very well appointed with an exceptional view of lake Thun and the Alps. We enjoyed Beatenberg for hiking. The hosts were easy to communicate with and made every effort to accommodate us. I would highly recommend this apartment!!!!

The property was neat and clean and the elevator was an added bonus.

We recently stayed in this Beatenberg apartment. As other reviews stated - the view was magnificent. We had rain 2 out of the 5 days we were there - but even that didn't make our stay any less special. The low cloud cover viewed off the deck was just as wonderful as the days it was sunny and we could see all of the surrounding mountains, Lake Thun and Interlaken. Hearing the cow bells below us was an added pleasure. We were able to knock off all the areas of interest on our bucket list that we wanted to see. The roads up were pretty twisty - but to get that view was worth it. And after all we WERE in Switzerland and the mountainous area is a given. The apartment was super clean, with everything provided that was promised. The relaxing music CD's were great with dinner every evening. The small grocery store in Beatenberg had all the basic staples needed plus delicious bakery items we didn't. We would rent this apartment again in a heartbeat.

Perfect apartment with fantastic view

One of the best apartments we have ever been. Absolutely clean, looks like totally new, with good design and fantastic view to the lake and mountains. We found everything we need there and all in perfect condition: kitchen fully equipped, comfortable beds, towels, hair dryer, washing and drying machine, elevator and garage for the car. And chocolates and coffee capsules were waiting for us on our arrival :) Also the location is perfect to explore all the area. We did not want to leave it!

Fabulous location - incredible view

This is a marvelous apartment - spacious, well equipped, ultra modern and clean, and a view to die for. Locating and driving to the apt. is a bit hairy, and you just hope you don't meet someone coming the opposite way. But it is worth it for the peace and quiet away from the tourists and crowds, and did I mention the view???

The location was great & we couldn't have asked for a better view. Apartment was modern & comfortable for the 4 of us. The little town of Beatenberg is quaint & quiet which was a plus. Loved sitting on the deck & listening to the bells & enjoying the beautiful view. I only have one major suggestion, & that is more linen options. We didn't enjoy the scratchy seersucker pillow & duvet covers & there were no other cases available for the 2 spare pillows.

Wonderful!

What a find this apartment was! We are a family of four and found the apartment to be clean, spacious, comfortable with everything we needed. Communication with Urs Sommer before our stay was excellent. However it was the stunning views from the balcony that made this place very special. We are an active family and after a full day of walking/cycling/climbing/swimming, we loved nothing more than relaxing on the balcony taking in the breath-taking view. The sign of a good holiday is not wanting it to end, and we most certainly did not want to go home at the end of the week. Highly recommend. 10/10. We would love to stay again!

MEGA PANORAMABLICK

Die Wohnung war einfach super und die Aussicht unbeschreiblich. Die Lage und Umgebung auch einfach nur perfekt.Man könnte auch nur in der Wohnung bleiben und die Aussicht genießen . Die letzten Meter mit dem Auto, um in die Wohnung zu gelangen, führten allerdings durch einen sehr engen Weg . War also etwas gruselig und man hatte gehofft, dass nichts von gegenüber kommt ,aber ist zu meistern und lohnt sich definitiv. In der Küche war ALLES was man zum kochen braucht . Sogar ein Raclette und Käsefondue Set 🤩 Diese Ferien können wir auf jeden Fall jedem empfehlen . Vielen lieben Dank.
