Top notch property with bedding for at least 5, all facilities beautiful, access to lovely pool. situated on banks of the Clyde river with views from front veranda, but all townhouses had some view. We parked the car and walked around the town for the 2 days-no need for the car. Beautiful area,beautiful townhouses. happy to recommend and will visit again.

Our stay at Bluedock was great. The apartments are beautiful, everything was tidy and clean (including pristine linen and towels) and all appliances and fixtures work as expected. I’ve become used to the expectations being set by online photos etc going unmet, but in this case they were exceeded. We had a beautiful view out to the river, and despite the nearby bridgeworks at the time of our stay, and the busy Princes Highway nearby, our stay was peaceful and quiet. There’s no front desk so you’re texted instructions on accessing keys from a lockbox at the door of your unit, adjacent to a very handy lockup garage at each unit. The kids enjoyed the spotless pool, and we loved the proximity to the shops and restaurants, and the ease with which we could travel to and from the apartments when sightseeing in the local area. It can be difficult turning right onto the Princes Highway from Clyde St, but a short distance over the bridge after turning left is a roundabout, so I can’t really sympathise with other reviewers complaining about this aspect of the accommodation as if it’s somehow the fault of the proprietors. The absence of wifi may be an impediment to some so it's worth mentioning, but these days where 4G is often better than any in-place connectivity, it's less of an issue than in previous years.

The location of our particular unit was right on the river with a perfect view of the well maintained jetty. Suprisingly quiet for it location.

My four night stay at unit 12 Blue dock

Pros: In a very good area quite away from the main stream of town .A lovely view out the Clyde river from the back of the apartment.
Cons: The A/c should be able to heat as well cooling. In cooler months provide electric blanket or a real heater.
Location: As we are seniors fishing, clubs shops restaurant and walks along the bay was our priority .
We arrived on Friday at about 5pm .We parked the car in secured garage right next to front door of apartment , key was in coded key box and code to the box was sms to me on the day. The place was very clean, modern, good kitchen size bathroom was excellent the bed was great. As it was a day that we had a cold snap we found that the a/c was only cooling model not a reverscycle model and the heater available was not up to the job it was cold.The location was quite relaxing and close to clubs shops and across to entrance of CLYED river. A top spot.

Clean, nice and great location.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Bluedock apartments and we enjoyed our stay just as much as the first time. Apartments are clean, have great facilities and a beautiful view over the water. Location is great, across the road from a nice park and a two minute walk to the centre of Batemans Bay.

Close to shops and river

Clean 3 bedroom townhouse. Kitchen well stocked with utensils. 1 bedroom queen with tv the other 2 bedrooms 2 singles in each. Kitchen and bathrooms feel updated and new. Pool clean. Our balcony of unit 6 was a pool view, but more a view of the next door neighbours backyard is what it has, didn’t take away from apartment though.

As good as it gets...

Bluedock apartments offer a very pleasant stay in Batemans Bay, with premium decor and aspect. The jetty out the back provided much entertainment value for our child and the pool was sparkling, if a bit small. We were surprised by the traffic noise at the back of the units and the fact that we were 200 metres from the shops but had to go north across the river, around a roundabout and back across the bridge to safely turn left into the town. Our contact with the staff lead to prompt attention. When the coffee plunger broke we contacted them but they said that they do not supply them in the units. Surprising, we thought, given that the tariff was so high. Theres also a 3% surcharge on amex which we were not told upfront. Of most concern is that there were no fire or evacuation signs in the unit or outdoor areas adjacent. There were smoke alarms but no hydrants. Very little logistical info of this kind is provided. Another guest told me that Roy and Allen are always around..? Are they managers or just retirees who can contact managers..

Hello Chris, We are glad that you enjoyed your stay at Bluedock Apartments.Your booking information from Expedia explains credit cards and charges. Yes Amex do charge 3% . This is an automatic charge which is calculated on the Eftpos machine at time of transaction. Bluedock Apartments is a 20 year old residential complex and does not require fire hydrants. The complex is maintained well and most of our guests are very happy with their time there. We do appreciate your feed back. Kind regards
