Cheap, and it shows

Pros: Quiet
Cons: Don't bring your dog to work, it's really not appropriate. It would be a quick, cheap solution and would have dramatically improved my rating.
Location: Walk to Todd Mall, then you'll find something. There's not much around the hotel.
There's no doubt this is cheap accommodation and it shows. But most youth hostels do cheap better than this. I was greeted (and farewelled) with an enormous and unfriendly German Shepherd barking loudly at me, not in greeting but to ward off an intruder. Alice Springs is cold at night this time of year, but I only had a couple of thin, holey blankets to put on my bed. At least it was quiet and my sleep was OK. Its location is on the empty side of town, but it's not too far to walk somewhere nice.

Close distance to Shops

Pros: Cheap and clean enough. At least my room. Also had a mini fridge and working air con.
Cons: Could clean walls better - left black stains after moping. And add microwave.
Location: Close to shops and places to eat.
We booked the double bedroom. The actual room turned out better than I expected. I was prepared for the worse. There was no wifi at the time because of a state wide problem. The front desk had a big german shepherd which made the reception room smell strongly of wet dog. But we also went with friends who stayed in another double bedroom. She told me she there was a mouse in her room running around!!!

Central and very reasonable.

Pros: Central location.
Cons: Maybe nrw carpets.
Location: Great location and in reach of all activities including shopping.
Room was clean tidy and very comfortable. Price was worth it. I had a very good nights sleep and woke well.

OK if you just need a bed for the night

Pros: Was OK just for a bed for the night which is all i needed - so met the purpose
Cons: Could do with a little TLC - a little run down - from point forward this section of the survey is poorly setup indicating very poor understanding of survey development. I suspect deliberately set up to solicit information, not gain an informative view

Pros: Shared kitchen is useful for preparing your own meals
Cons: Improve the plumbing, needs new furniture, wooden sliding door to bathroom was difficult to open.
Location: Location is ok
Location was ok but room is overpriced in comparison to other places

Infested with bed bugs and wifi is dead

Bed bugs in the room and bed , serious health implications for tourist and workers.

Run down.

Pros: It located close to everything.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Close to town.
Needs a serious upgrade and some shaded parking. One can't sit on the bed and lean back against the headboard, the bed run away from the wall as if on skates. The cold water tap was running continuously... There was no switch for the little lights above the bed.

friendly place for good simple accommodation

Pros: Good clean friendly place to stay. Y
Cons: Actually, at the prices they charge... Nothing.
Location: Everything central is within walking distance,
My experience was very positive. This is a simple good place for a simple good night, at a simple good price. Like a quiet friendly motel 6, or a little nicer in the centre of Oz.
