OK for passing the night, experience wasn’t 4-star

Pluses: Close to the beach Open garage parking Within close walking distance to food and beach Minuses: Maintenance issues: I stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment which had noisy kitchen and bathroom taps/plumbing. It appears, reading through past reviews, I’m not the first experiencing this. I find this quite appalling for customer experience. Presentation/experience wasn’t quite 4-star: The 2-bedroom apartment I got looked and smelt a bit dated. I wouldn’t call my experience 4-star. I might consider other options next time.

Thanks for your input. The units were built 20 years ago and that is impossible to change. They are regularly painted and furniture such as beds replaced every couple of years. Linen is immaculate and so to describe as "smell dated" is difficult to understand. They are the most spacious units in Albany in the self contained range. - Plumbing noises are the result of extremeiy high water pressure (100 kpa) and regulators have been installed to try and cope with this.

The apartments are well situated, close to gorgeous Middleton Beach and the new ANZAC centre. However we thought the apartment we stayed in was tired and in need of an upgrade and a new cleaner.

Stunning French Village Style!

Abosultely cute and cosy little French style village at Middleton Beach Albany. Very clean and comfortable.

Thank you Collene for your kind comments. With onsite management we always try and address everyone's concenrns as soon as they are brought to our attention. WiFi is available with a computer generated password from reception. Telstra modems in laptops often have a problem since we are in the shadow of the mountain. However if our hotspot is involved, we like to know so we can imprrove service.

Thank you Pam for your feedback. February has been a busy month but most other quests are considerate. Our pricing for a 4 star property was well below our usual tariff at the time you booked. Not sure what was considered below average as regards service. We are in the office for 13 hours a day and our staff delight in being as helpful as possible. Wifi is available but a username and password is computer generated and available at reception on request. $10 for 3 hours with 1st 3hrs free.

Our reception staff, who are all locals, are always able to assist with tips on sight seeing when you stay again. Your stay was in the prime holiday season, tariff's are somewhat lower for most of the year with winter specials for 3 months of the year. Our housekeepers work hard to keep apartments in top condition, so, thanks for the high marks for cleanliness. Will let them read your feedback.

Thanks for the feedback, our location is really great and we're situated at the hub of the wheel, allowing guests to travel in all directions to satisfy their appetite for some of the best scenery and beaches in WA. Reception staff are always more than willing to assist with enquiries and tips on sight seeing in the area. The Balneaire "family" are always encouraged by high scores for cleanliness. The housekeepers work hard to keep the standard high.Always love to picture who gives the reviews.
