We stayed here for a short get away as had a wedding out that way to attend. Elizabeth and Richard are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. Had the best night sleep in ages the breakfasts provided are generous in a relaxing environment the room feels like home away from home Highly recommend staying here Thank you for your hospitality Regards Connie and Stuart

Pros: Everything
Cons: Just keep doing what you are doing.
Location: Well situated in McLaren Vale wine region
The facilities are first class. Richard and Elizabeth are great hosts available but not intrusive. Well situated in McLaren Vale area. We were there for a wedding and everything was perfect. The breakfast were beautiful prepared and presented. We had access to the pergola and conservatory in addition to the room and all were of the highest standard. We would have no issue referring our family, friends or anyone else to using this beautiful B & B. Keep up the great work Richard and Elizabeth.

Lovely ambience

Pros: Location Ambience Gardens
Cons: Bed - it creaked at the slightest movement, but was comfortable. Would liked mugs, for tea, instead of tiny cups. plates knives for light meal.
Location: Wineries. Beach in close vicinity
Was a central location to the areas we wished to travel to.

Clean, cosy and tranquil. Very good breakfast.

Pros: Very clean and cosy. Beautiful furnishing. Tranquil setting. Nice bath linens. Very good breakfast.
Cons: Can do with a new mattress. The mattress on the bed is too soft. Not enough support for the back.
Location: 5-10 minutes drive from heart of McLaren Vale and major wineries and restaurants.
Very spacious and cosy chalet style accommodation with beautiful furnishing. 5-10 minutes drive from the heart of McLaren Vale and major wineries. Clean bathroom with thick hotel grade towels (in our case it was Country Road). Very good hair dryer. The room also has a 3 seater lounge plus 2 chairs so you don't have to sit on the bed to read or watch TV. We only stayed for 2 nights so did not have to unpack our suitcases, however, may need a wardrobe for those who stay for longer. We would have given a "5" for room comfort and only mark 4 because the mattress on the bed is not firm and it was a bit uncomfortable for our backs. We were given a choice of having breakfast in our room, the outdoor patio or the conservatory. We chose the conservatory because of its nice setting with a water feature, indoor plants and hammock. The breakfast is scrumptious and delicious. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, not from a carton. Richard and Elizabeth are nice hosts. Attentive but also leave you to yourself. The price we paid is good value and we recommend to other travellers.

A weekend away form the hustle and bustle.

We had a wonderful weekend retreat. Breakfast was delicious especially your omelette and fresh squeeze orange juice that Richard and Elizabeth made for us every morning. The cabin was cozy and peaceful with all the creature comforts. The location of Peppercorn B&B was perfect for us to explore what McLaren Vale and outer areas has to offer. Would go back again :)
