Basic

Pros: Central location, has restaurant on site and wifi included.Continental breakfast incuded cereals toast yoghurt ,fruit bakery items and tea and coffee,
Cons: The room we stayed in had unfinished repairs to the wall above the T V . A telephone in the room would be beneficial. There was no tray to make tea on.
Location: Rundle Mall shopping , close to Public transport and Airport bus. Within walking distance to Clipsal 500 and Festival of Arts and train and trams.
Old Hertage Hotel with lots of history but in need of updating. Basic amenities supplied and comfy bed . We stayed a Saturday night and experienced very loud music coming from the Beer Garden below. New TV but no reception until we plugged in the supplied Rabbit Ears Aerial. The latches on most of the cupboards were loose or missing. The Window A/C was very noisy as well .Overall the Hotel was within walking distance to shops , transport and Eateries and very basic for B anB

Budget accommodation in the heart of Adelaide City

Pros: Location and price. Helpful staff.
Cons: Carpet in room. Plaster on walls.
Excellent budget accommodation located within walking distance of all the city landmarks. Free city tram and free city/North Adelaide bus a minute away.

Very disappointing, over priced hostel imo! Bathroom door wouldn't shut due to bed in the way. Was expecting a rustic charm but was dirty, antiquated and run down. Showering was a horror inducing experience as there were not one but two pubes stuck to the wall, stay away!

Excellent location to the CBD.

Pros: Kat and Maureen
Cons: The decor, the lighting in the rooms, the signage to find your room and the way out! The grumpy barman's attitude to paying guests!
Location: The location is fantastic with the Rundle mall 5 mins away. Places to eat are just everywhere!
This Heritage listed Hotel in the CBD is great. Value for money is fantastic. Hotel needs some modernization in keeping with the style. More signs to find your way around the hotel would be very helpful. Kat and Maureen, the breakfast staff, were so lovely and need to be congratulated on their fantastic, friendly service every morning- they both made our stay better. The bar was a great place to meet before dinner, the young lady, bar staff member, was always friendly, which is more than can be said for the grumpy man who begrudgingly served us drinks- He seemed more comfortable in the betting bar and was so rude at times!! Not good for business! The beds in our rooms were ok but could have done with an upgrade. bed linen and towels were always very clean. I would come back and stay but hopefully it would have been given an upgrade all over and some staff been given some training in how to talk to paying guests! Thank you again Kat and Maureen- you were the best!!

Great if location is your priority

Pros: The location in the CBD
Cons: Breakfast quality, more modern room facilities eg. bathroom, fridge facilities. The 3rd bed in our room was right underneath a noisy air conditioner.
Location: Great for central city exploring and also for the tram out the front to Glenelg. Great for free bus service around town and for transport to venues.
Great location in CBD centre for those wishing to holiday without the hassle of a car. Tram out front and free tram/buses around CBD just outside your door. If you are wishing to use your car you are better off looking for somewhere which provides on site parking. Although a nearby carpark was available for $16 a day, not good if using your car frequently as only 1 entry/exit provided. The room was clean and comfortable but very basic, which is fine is wanting a bed for the night as your main concern. Breakfast very basic but again dependent on what you are willing to pay for accommodation. This hotel provided everything we needed for a decent price, but if wanting a more comfortable stay and wanting to spend a bit more time in your accommodation relaxing, you're better off paying a bit more.

Great CBD location

Great location within walking distance of CBD attractions. Easy walk to the Adelaide Oval, Victoria Square, Rymill Park and other Fringe activities. The price was good value and the accommodation included continental breakfast. It's a little 'quirky' with 'one of the oldest lifts in Adelaide'. If your room is on the 3rd floor, you must walk from the 2nd floor. The décor abounds with chandeliers.

Just to sleep

If you want to just sleep it's ok very noisy at night so ask for s quieter section of hotel. Minimal breakfast no water provided. You get what you pay for
