You’ll soon see that Yungaburra remains largely unchanged from its early days as a commercial hub. You’ll also find excellent cafes and restaurants serving locally grown produce.

You’ll love the proximity of your Yungaburra accommodation to the Australian bushlands. There’s Lake Tinaroo where you’ll enjoy: swimming, waterskiing, kayaking, fishing or having a picnic banks of the dam. The crater lakes of Lake Barrine and Lake Eacham are great locations for swimming and bushwalking. You shouldn’t miss a visit to the Curtain Fig Tree, one of the largest strangler figs in Tropical Queensland, as well as Dinner Falls in Mt Hypipamee National Park, where granite walls plunge straight down into the water filled crater.
