Woolmers Estate is a property set on 200 acres, 5km from Longford in Northern Tasmania. Woolmers was continuously occupied by the Archer family from 1816 to 1994 and is acknowledged as one of the most outstanding examples of 19th century rural settlements in Australia. There are seven cottages set in the grounds, sleeping 20 people. Children are welcome. They were built in the 1840s to house the trades people on the Estate and have been converted into 4 star, self-catering colonial cottages.
