Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mount Coot-tha is Queensland's premier subtropical botanic gardens. The 52 hectare gardens are located seven kilometers from the city center on Mt Coot-tha Road, Toowong.
Entry to the gardens is free. Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha features Japanese Gardens and a Freedom Wall monument. The botanic gardens is also home to the Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium.

- Budget option in a pricey location. Clean.
- Family suites are located on top floor, with no lift. Very poor air circulation. Distractingly uncomfortable beds. Not enough car spaces on weekend.
- Construction happening next door. Mean linen servicing, not enough air circulation to dry towels. Everything had a bare minimum feel.
