Accommodation Tocumwal

Tocumwal is situated on the northern banks of the Murray River, and it's the last town in New South Wales on the Newell Highway before you cross into Victoria. Our Tocumwal accommodation is situated in the heart of this small historic country town surrounded by rich farmland and red gum forests.

There are 25 sandy riverside beaches close to our Tocumwal accommodation. The beaches are flanked by towering red gums and it’s the perfect location for picnics and swimming, bushwalking and bird watching and fishing for Murray cod. Be sure to visit the Blowhole reserve - a deep waterhole - sacred to the local aboriginals.

You’ll also love the history within and surrounding Tocumwal. The town began life as a river port and transport hub for the region’s agricultural products. Visit Chrysties Museum and you’ll see this history brought to life with its exhibits of old farm machinery, restored trucks and vintage cars. During WII the US Army Corp commissioned a large aerodrome at Tocumwal and the base became the largest RAAF training base in the Southern Hemisphere. Visit the Aerodrome Museum and explore this old base.

There is so much to see and do in Tocumwal so book your Tocumwal accommodation today!
