Tocumwal is situated on the northern banks of the Murray River, and it's the last town in New South Wales on the Newell Highway before you cross into Victoria. Visit Chrysties Museum and you’ll see this history brought to life with its exhibits of old farm machinery, restored trucks and vintage cars. During WII the US Army Corp commissioned a large aerodrome at Tocumwal and the base became the largest RAAF training base in the Southern Hemisphere.
