Phuket Town: (A Sino-Portuguese Flair)

Similan Islands National Park, This world-renowned marine national park, occupying an area of 128,000 square kilometers, is 50 kilometers off the west coast of Phang-nga in the Andaman Sea. Due to the plentiful natural beauty found on the islands and the abundant coral gardens and marine life under the sea, the Similan Islands are rated by the Skin Diving Magazine of USA as one of the top ten island groups on earth.

Phi Phi Islands, famed as among the most beautiful tropical islands of the world, Phi Phi Islands have become one of the most popular tourist attractions of Thailand. It was here that the well-known movie "The Beach" featuring Leonardo DiCaprio.

Phang Nga Bay, Ao Phang-nga or Phang-nga Bay is one of the most frequently visited marine national parks of Thailand, with an area of 40,000 square kilometers. It comprises of more than 40 islands, large and small, located in the northeast of Phuket. It is almost like an inland lake with its east, north and west sealed off by land and its south partly enclosed. The national park is widely known among foreign tourists for its unique seascape. The group of islets has become known as Guilin-on-Sea.

Temples:
Wat Chalong, Phuket's most beautiful and renowned temple, enshrining the statues of monk-hero Luang Pho Chaem and his assistant Luang Pho Chuang, both much revered by local people because of their roles in quelling the miner rebellion in 1876.

Wat Phra Thong (half buried Buddha), a sacred temple houses a gold half buried Buddha emerging from the ground. According to local legend, about 200 years ago the villagers found the image buried in the ground and tried to excavate it for enshrinement, but only the upper part could be uncovered. Later they built a temple over it and covered it with gilded stucco, and it has remained so ever since.

Wat Phra Nang Sang (3 bronze heads of Buddha), this historic temple is one of the most significant temples in the province housing three ancient bronze Buddha heads and the world's largest tin Buddha. The temple was built on the site were the battle between Phuket and Burmese invaders took place, a larger memorial can be seen at the "Heroines Monument".

Big Buddha, is one of Phuket's most iconic and revered landmarks, sitting on top of the Nakkerd Hills between Chalong and Kata and at 45 meters high the stunning statue can be easily seen from far away. The lofty site offers the best 360 degrees views of the island such as Phuket Town, Kata, Karon, Chalong Bay, Cape Phromthep, Ao Makham and more.

Entertainment:
Phuket Fantasea, an extravaganza for all your senses, Phuket Fantasea is situated on Kamala Bay and features a spectacular light and sound show mixed with pyrotechnics, dances, performing animals, acrobatics, cultural and fantasy show.

Patong:
