Bali is global tourist destination. Most Balinese in the more popular tourist locales will even understand and speak conversational English. Being in island, water sports have been growing in popularity ever since the surfing pioneers first set foot on the sands of Kuta some 30 years ago. With its myriad of shops and stores, carrying a variety of international brand names and local handicrafts, you just might need an extra bag for your purchases.
Bali is ideal to visit all year round. The weather in Bali is typical of a tropical climate, with temperatures hovering around between 68-93 degrees Fahrenheits (20-33degrees celcius) year-round. December to March is ussualy when heavy rains bring higher humidity kevels, but for the most part rain comes late in the day and dissipates quickly. If you plan to be inland, a light sweater or jacket may be needed after sunset.
