The Blackheath Village boasts many quality Restaurants and Cafes, a major antique centre and many curio and antique shops. The Village has two pubs, a railway station, bus stop and is very close to bushwalking, horseriding and breathtaking views (minimum travel to see 5 mins/maximum travel 30 minutes).

Katoomba; Echo Point and the Three Sisters are approximately 15 minutes prior/before Blackheath travelling along the Great Western Highway.

Jenolan Caves, the ZigZag Railway and Mt Tomah Botanical Gardens are approximately between 30 - 40 mins further travel (each in a Westerly direction) from Blackheath.
