Centenary pool complex (heated Olympic size pool and fitness centre)
Brisbane CBD - hail a bus (from Brunswick Street, 5 minutes walk), catch a taxi or walk to the central business district of Brisbane and the Queen Street Mall (Myers, David Jones, speciality stores, etc.). The Treasury Casino is located at the river end of Queen Street and the Brisbane GPO and the historic Customs House is located at the other end.
South Bank Parklands - drive (plenty of parking available), catch a train from Brunswick Station (5 minutes walk), taxi or bus to South Bank Parklands. Variety abounds - cafes, markets, shopping, swimming and entertainment. The Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Queensland Museum, John Oxley Library, the State Art Gallery and Maritime Museum are all located at South Bank Parklands.
Markets - South Bank Parklands is the main location for markets on Friday nights, Saturday and Sunday, with another Sunday market at the Riverside and Eagle Street pier. On Saturday, head to the nearby Brunswick Street and Chinatown markets for an array of secondhand goods, asian curios and alternative items.

- friendly service in reception. Showed me everything I needed to know to get in after hours. Also close to train station (maybe 10min walk)
- i booked a room with shared toilet/shower which was fine - i knew I was booking that. The shower was tiny though - no room to put your clothes

- close to royal brisbane hospital. afordable. friendly staff.
- shared bathroom for twin share accomodation.
- close to public transport, not far from the city and as i mentioned only 1.3kms from the hospital
We have 4 Budget rooms which share a bathroom as per our room description , all our other rooms have their own ensuites

- For budget nothing really, cheaper rooms may be bit worn
- Very good value for location, generally quiet. 4 to 6 mins walk to rail station and chinatown food and shops.
