Relais Francesca organizes hiking and excursions to Capri and excursions on the Amalfi Coast. It offers the opportunity to discover the glimpses and the most spectacular and hidden areas of the Sorrento Peninsula , Amalfi coast and Capri. A comfortable air-conditioned shuttle bus comes to take its customers from the Relais and lead them to the port of Piano di Sorrento where leave the characteristics Capitanago boats to Capri or Amalfi. For those who don't love boating, Relais Francesca offers Amalfi coast tours by bus.
Food and wine tours:
-tour with tasting at the dairy Michelangelo which is located a short walk from the Relais and is the oldest one of the Sorrento peninsula. In a welcoming and friendly atmosphere you can attend to the production process from fresh milk to the final product, having fun tasting, between "tubs and Fruscella", the Michelangelo specialties (mozzarella cheese and smoked cheese, bocconcini, provolone, caciotta, aged burrino-guided tour of the mill Gargiulo, a company located on the scenic hills of Sorrento, which produces extra virgin olive oil since 1840 and over the years has extended its offer proposing olive oil with lemons, flavored oils, honey and truffle oil . The program organized for the visitors contemplate the visit to the olive grove to show the olive harvest, the visit to the old mill where there are still the millstones, the visit to the modern mill and the oil tasting. Last but not least a visit to the showroom to buy the products that have intrigued more.
Tarantella
The Sorrento tarantella is the famous folk dance of all over the world and one of the greatest expressions of the Sorrento folklore Sorrento. Over the years it has become a real tourist attraction. Today you can watch the performances that will be held in specialized settings which have as background images of ancient representations of Sorrento.
Relais Francesca proposes you the shows that are held at the Fauno, a well-known and elegant setting that is located in Piazza Tasso, Sorrento's main square.
