Fraser Island
This is the largest sand island in the world and is heritage listed. Rainbow Beach is the gateway to this magnificent Island and can be accessed directly from Rainbow Beach by barge from Inskip Point or the Rainbow Beach Flying Service which offers daily flights. This environmentally sensitive region is where you can discover abundant wildlife and natural beauty with seemingly endless golden beaches, towering hardwood forests, pristine rainforests and crystal clear freshwater lakes with gurgling blood red streams, prehistoric ferns and mosaic coloured sands.

Take a tour through the Cooloola National Park, Coloured Sands, Double Island Point Lighthouse, Rainforest and Lake Freshwater.

Carlo Sand Blow
A bush walk up to Carlo Sandblow is a must for every visitor. The Blow is an easy 600m walk from the car park. Spectacular views of The Coloured Sands, Double Island Point and Tin Can Bay Inlet are the bonus for your efforts. This is a most beautiful piece of Natures Sculpture.

Dolphin Viewing at Tin Can Bay
Take a cruise or a short drive and you can see the wild Dolphins come in to be fed. Also a good opportunity to take a look around this pretty little town.

- Take a guided heritage walk to see the significant buildings of this historical gold mining town. In 1876 James Nash discovered gold which started a gold rush and the beginning of this township.
