A three and a half hour drive from Brisbane and only two hours from the Sunshine Coast, Hervey Bay has attracted holiday makers for over a century.
Hervey Bay?s climate and idyllic waterways present an abundance of aquatic activities including swimming, fishing, sailing, diving and skiing.
Starting late July and through to early November is whale watching season in Hervey Bay. Each year thousands of tourists flock to the region to board whale watching tours where they will view the majestic humpback whales on their annual migration from the freezing Antarctic waters to the warm coastal waters of western and eastern Australia and then return south again.
The Urangan Boat Harbour is the local meeting point for many different aquatic activities including Hervey Bay fishing while The Esplanade and the city centre offers a plethora of land attractions and activities such as Hervey Bay 4WD adventures.
The World Heritage listed Fraser Island is just across the water and it's just a thirty-five minute flight by seaplane to the southern reaches of the Great Barrier Reef.

- The view of the ocean & the proximity to great food at the Bistro & Salt Cafe.
- Not being able to stay longer.
- There's a beautiful walking track right along the esplanade.

- The King Size Bed was wonderful & The View of the Peir
- The step up onto the patio and aluminium door runner into the Master Bedroom are both a trip hazard
- The Markets, The Local Restaurants & Facilities were great.

- Room had no views of ocean...probably expected this because it was a wotif hot offer
- I dont it should really call itself a resort as apart from a pool there was nothing else

- Beautiful position. Fabulous food and great live entertainment in restaurant. Loved my stay. Walked along the beach and along jetty. Priceless!
