Peppers Calstock is set amongst 200 acres of luscious estate grounds and offers panoramic views of Deloraine. As one of Tasmania’s oldest National Trust Listed mansion Manors, the 19th century Georgian mansion is a stunning example of Tasmania’s pioneering history retaining many original features including marble fireplaces, high ceilings with decorative architraves and cedar floors. The intimate nature of the retreat will make you feel like you’re the only guest.
While still part of a farm, the house has been beautifully restored in gracious period style.

Deloraine is a pretty riverside town on the Meander River in north-west Tasmania surrounded by pristine countryside where caves, waterfalls, cliffs, lakes and nature reserves are waiting to be experienced.
In the foothills of the Great Western Tiers, this charming town features many Georgian and Victorian buildings that have been carefully restored and now house galleries, restaurants and studios.
Deloraine is set against a beautiful natural backdrop including the limestone caves of Mole Creek Karst National Park, Cradle Mountain along with fascinating waterfalls, most notably Liffey Falls, the most famous waterfalls in Tasmania.
The land itself is largely used for dairy farming which feeds the local cheese manufacturing industry with the region specialising in English and Swiss style cheeses.
Even more attractions can be explored with an easy day trip from Deloraine including 41 Degrees South Salmon Farm, the Ginseng Farm, Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm, Stephens Honey and the Ashgrove Cheese Factory.
