The resort has been designed to make the most of its absolute waterfront location. Port Stephens is an idyllic coastal paradise where the emphasis is on pleasure. Its naturally beautiful surrounds are typified by volcanic peaks along a coastline with crystal clear bays fringed by golden sand.
Port Stephens lays claim to the title of Dolphin Capital of Australia with the expansive Nelson Bay being home to around 150 bottlenose dolphins. Between May and June, humpback whales can also be viewed as they cruise past the region on their northern migration, returning between September and November.
Whether it's for diving, fishing, boating, snorkelling or a dolphin or whale watching cruise, Port Stephens boasts everything you need for year-round aquatic action.
On dry land you can explore the amazing sand dunes at Stockton Beach, trek through the Tomaree National Park, take in a little history while enjoying morning tea at the Inner Lighthouse or work on your swing at one of the local golf courses.
Port Stephens is also becoming a hot spot for festivals and events with the Tastes of the Bay Food & Wine Festival in November and Twilight Opera at the Port Stephens Winery to name only a few. In town there are also galleries and arts and craft museums to visit as well as weekly craft markets.
