Accommodation Narrandera

Narrandera is situated on the Murrumbidgee River, in the heart of the Riverina region. Our Narrandera accommodation is nestled within this tranquil country town, full of historic buildings with wide verandas, tree-line streets and parks, and surrounded by wide open plains. The best way to see Narrandera is by walking, so stroll through the town centre and visit the Tiger Moth Museum, the Royal Mail Hotel, the original courthouse and police station. A little further afield from your Narrandera accommodation is the Bundidgerry Walking Track which follows a picturesque route around Lake Talbot and the Murrumbidgee River. The track passes through the top end of the Narrandera Koala Regeneration Reserve which was opened in 1972 as a specific reserve to increase Koala numbers in the local region. You’ll now spot many Koalas in the gum trees above you. Or perhaps, book your Narrandera accommodation for March, to coincide with the John O’Brien Bush Festival. It’s a fantastic gathering of music, comedy, dance, bush culture and literary acts as well as street parades that takes over Narrandera. Image Attribution: suburbanbloke under Creative Commons |
