Sun Peaks in the Winter:
With over 3,600 acres of terrain to explore and light dry snow, Sun Peaks is all about maximizing your vacation experience. Epic powder days experienced on unbelievable terrain are the ultimate combination. In a matter of minutes, you can sweep down from an open, powder filled bowl into the trees of your choice or the perfectly groomed run that you crave.
Variety is the name of the game here. There are 122 runs to choose from, spread over the second largest skiable terrain in B.C. They can take you anywhere from the open glades of Mt. Morrisey to the steep face of Tod Mountain. No matter what level of skier or snowboarder you are, there is a perfect run for you at Sun Peaks Resort. Other activities include cross country skiing, cat grooming rides, bungee trampoline, horse drawn sleigh rides, snowmobile tours, and much more!
Sun Peaks in the Summer:
As the warm spring sun melts away the winter's snow, the Kamloops region comes alive with a wide range of adventure experiences including fishing, horse riding, river rafting, hiking, biking and lakes everywhere! Sun Peaks opens its 18 hole championship golf course Mid May. One of the highlights of the summer occurs in late July with the Alpine Blossom Festival. The splendor of the alpine flowers is experienced by thousands of sight seers and hikers each summer. Renowned for its mountain biking, the mountain has trails for everyone. Lifts open at the end of June to access mountain biking and hiking trails. The resort has tennis, swimming and many outdoor adventures to choose from. As well, a number of quality restaurants and outdoor patios will provide friendly service. Memories at the Cahilty Restaurant located in Nancy Greene's Cahilty Lodge is open all year round for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves scrumptious fresh meals sure to satisfy anyone!
