All of the attractions of the Sunshine Coast from the scenic walks of Glasshouse Mountains and Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwins' Australia Zoo in the south, the arts and crafts of the hillside villages of Maleny/Montville to the west or the fantastic beaches, cafes and shops of Coolum & Noosa to the north are all within an easy 25 minute drive.
Kids attractions include Bli Bli Castle, Ski'n Skurf cable water ski park, Top Shots Fun Park, Maze Mania, jet ski hire, sail boat hire, general boat and pontoon boat hire. These are all located within 2 minutes drive of the Maroochy River Bungalows.
For those interested in the cafe scene there is a multitude of cafes & night spots to suit all tastes at Mooloolaba which is an easy 10 minutes drive.
For those that just want to relax our paddle boats, waterbikes, kayaks, crab pots, games, swimming pool, bbq, & tennis courts, provide entertainment without having to go driving at all.
The simple things in life are always the best.
The main attractions for the children are our resident scrub turkeys who delight all with their nest building displays, and the majestic pelicans who line the foreshore eagerly awaiting a friendly fisherman.
Fishing for flathead, whiting, bream & mudcrabs usually produces good results. Prawns are a great attraction during the winter months.
