Walk inland to see waterfalls, lush and unusual vegetation, the unique Proboscis monkey, macaques, giant lizards and many colourful exotic birds. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Gunung Mulu National Park which contains one of the world's largest cave systems. Visit the golden sands of Damai beach, a great location to rest and relax, which is also home to the Sarawak Cultural Village, with seven replicas of ethnic houses. Or head out on a scuba diving tour to see a World War II shipwreck, the Katori Maru.
