Lake Yalleena is a unique highland lakeside experience for the individual, couple or family who are seeking a unique, tranquil experience and break away.
At Lake Yalleena, we offer a truly affordable, eco friendly 'connection with nature' holiday. With open views ten metres from the lake edge, all cabins sleep five people comfortably, with room to add an extra person if required. Cabins are open plan with two bedrooms, lounge/dining area, open kitchen and bathroom/laundry.

The lake offers visitors a variety of things to do, from fishing for some of the largest trout in Tasmania (as a privately stocked lake this is an additional cost) to bush walking around the lake or at one of the two local state forests waterfall sites. Alternatively you can relax by your own wood fire and just watch the endless wildlife parade past your door. There is BBQ facilities on site or if you want a great pub meal the Lake Leake Inn is the perfect venue for down home country hospitality and atmosphere.
Further afield you can visit some of the best heritage towns in Australia, Ross, Oatlands and Richmond all within an hour and half drive. To the east you can visit one of the best ranked beaches in the world at Wine Glass Bay, or drive along the Tasman Hwy which is a spectacular ocean drive (that rivals the great ocean road) and visit the beautiful Freycinet Peninsular and the towns of Coles Bay, Bicheno and Swansea.
