Blackheath is in the centre of the World Heritage Blue Mountains National Park. A great base from which to explore the many waterfalls and lookouts as you bushwalk and tour the area. Natural wonders to see include Govetts Leap, Echo Point, the 3 Sisters, Scenic Railway/Skyway, Megalong Valley, Mount Wilson, Mt Tomah, Zig Zag Railway and Jenolan Caves. The towns and villages also offer there own ambience with Antique Shops, Art Galleries, and several good cafes and restaurants and if you like golf there are several beautiful courses in the area.
