- Language barrier, only a few staff spoke English.
- Was close to all the main sights in beijing such as forbidden city etc, safe and good value. Would stay again.

- Transportation inconvenient and Noisy
- A few restaurants offering local food. Mostly muslim food

- Great location, just north of the Forbidden City..about a 10 min walk
- Not close to the subway. A bit annoying, but once you figured out the bus that takes you there and back, all ok
- The room rate is exorbitantly hight. Definitely not worth the US$150 the quote
