Karuah Motor Inn is ideally located on the mouth of the Karuah River which runs into Port Stephens, great for boating and fishing with a boat ramp 200m from the Motel. Karuah Wet Lands and Karuah RSL Bowling Club are a short walk away, with the Karuah Golf Club 3km West of the town. It is a 15 minute drive to the Beach at Hawks Nest and a Ferry service to Nelson Bay.
