Skiing and boarding during winter months, mountain biking, fishing, bush walking, swimming, golf, tennis and bobsled during summer months. There are many other attractions that bring people to visit Thredbo Village outside of the abovementioned activities. In November the annual Snowy Ride, where approximately 3,000 motor bike riders come to the village as a fund raiser for the Children's Cancer Foundation. At the beginning of January there is the Blues Festival, where many well known rock bands and artists come to perform. The country music festival is held in March, with a great line up of australian and international artists. Then in May the Jazz festival brightens up the village, with live music and wine tastings throughout the whole weekend.
