The Iglesia de la Asuncion church has one of the finest domes in the area and for more history, visit Denia Castle which is surrounded at its base by quaint houses nicely painted in different colours that add a calming atmosphere to wander around. From the castle make your way to El Port which consists of a line of attractive restaurants facing the port area.

There is a daily ferry service from Denia to Ibiza (you can see Ibiza on a clear day) and there are also full and half day mini cruises which you can also book that will sail you along the coast to other resorts such as Javea, Calpe and Altea.
You can also visit Spain?s biggest theme park Terra Mitica, a 40 minute drive along the coast.

The Marina

The marina at Denia is well know for it's excellent sailing facilities and its costal sea bed which is a paradise for scuba divers. There are several clubs located at the marina to help you to explore the coastline. There are also fishing trips, mini cruises and island hopping on a Catamaran, complete with barbecue.

For water sports lovers, Denia offers a first class Yachting Club, with fishing, windsurfing, diving and sailing also available all year round.

The beaches and coves of Las Rotas and the Cape of San Antonio, just south of the town are a haven for scuba divers and snorkellers.
Denia?s ports have always played an important part in this town, the fish market is still a daily occurrence.

The marina has been extended and now has moorings for over 1000 yachts of all sizes. A service operates so that you can visit the nearby Balearic islands on a regular basis, making the marina full of life.

Denia is well known for hosting many festivals including the famous Bull Run throughout the streets of Denia and the annual tomato festival.

Denia is a magical place full of life, tradition and vibrant colour, especially during one of its many fiestas. There are several fiestas and celebrations held every year, from the famous Bull Run in July which is considered the best in Spain to the many gourmet traditions, Fiesta de la Mocaora, a food festival held in October and the Sueca, Paella festival which celebrate this most famous of Spanish dishes.
