For a little free fun why not try out the world's longest outdoor escalator which runs Central to Soho and further up to the mid-level residential developments.

Visit Aberdeen Harbour and see the amazing juxtaposition between the modern and the traditional – as residential high-rises cover the hillsides, hundreds of people live on traditional fishing junks in the Harbour. Also in the area is Ocean Park, a popular theme park which covers 80 hectares and features thrill rides, an aquarium, giant pandas and displays on their marine conservation programs.

Hong Kong Island is a shopper's paradise offering numerous boutiques, malls and markets. The majority of shopping opportunities occur in Central: Browse a variety of shops in the International Finance Centre Mall, above Central station; find a plethora of goods available at the Stanley Market; and shop for leather goods, watches and Chinese dress on Li Yuen Street West and Li Yuen Street East. Causeway Bay also offers numerous shops in the World Trade Centre and Times Square. Cat Street, in the Western District, contains stalls selling souvenirs, Buddha statues and Mao memorabilia and you will find traditional Chinese food and household items on Chun Yeung Street, North Point.

At Repulse Bay you will find one of Singapore's most beautiful beaches. Although primarily an upmarket residential area, Repulse Bay has wide shorefront promenades and plenty of sandy and sun-drenched coastline for you to stroll and enjoy.
