Take a boat cruise on the bay and watch these majestic mammals playing the warm waters... you’ll be delighted by their spectacular displays of breaching and tail flapping and you’ll be moved when watching the mothers and calves gracefully playing together!

Our Hervey Bay resorts are a great base to visit and explore the unique formation of sand and rainforest on Fraser Island. Visit pristine fresh water creeks and crystal clear lakes; you’ll see a range of vegetation from mangroves to 200 year old Kauri forests. Treat yourself to a helicopter or Tiger Moth flight, and view this beautiful region from the air.

There’s a wide variety of activities to keep you busy when you stay in your Hervey Bay resort. Hire a bike and meander along on the esplanade from the Urangan Pier to Point Vernon. Or enjoy waters sports such as kayaking, sailing, fishing or scuba diving. Or perhaps, browse the boutique shops and art galleries; why not stop for coffee and lunch at one of the many fantastic cafes!
