Tokyo Fuji Art Museum
A comprehensive museum established in 1983.
Holds approximately 30,000 works of various genres and characterized especially for its oil painting collection that overviews the 500-year history of western painting, and its photo collection featuring many masterpieces.
Murauchi Art Museum
Modeled on a small, homelike museum in Paris, the Gustave Moreau Museum was once visitied by Michimasa Murauchi. The museum opened in 1982 with the idea of becoming a small museum with a profuse range of items to entice the visitor back time after time.
The exhibit room permanently displays approximately 140 works mainly of the Barbizon school along with works of Impressionists and artists of the same period.
