The Trekking will start at 0700hrs, accompanied by one of our experienced staff, by foot through the surrounding countryside. Feel the cool breeze while listening to the bird song as you take in the view of the farmer's daily activities. The traditional Balinese instrument (known as "sunari") can be heard as the wind blows - this is in fact to keep the birds away from the rice field. The way through the cultivated rice fields are like giant steps, but be careful to always remain on the narrow borders of the fields and not tread on the paddies. It will take about 20 minute from Furama Villas and Spa to Babakan Gage where you can enjoy the river's view as well as the intricate system of irrigation.

- Private secluded villas with amazing service and luxury, waking up to birds singing and sunshine, totally peaceful and relaxing!
- A bit far from Ubud, 15 minutes in a taxi meant limited trips into the town. Room service was a little pricey and no other options around unless Ubud
- Overall amazing experience, we loved staying here and were v sad to leave!!
