"Chinthurst" a beautiful late Victorian house, built to exacting standards from precision cut local sandstone. Set amidst its own lawned gardens surrounded by trees, set back from Otley Road, Chinthurst enjoys a tranquil setting yet only a two minute walk from Skipton's bustling High Street. Plenty of on-site car parking allows you to park up and relax.
Built in the late 19th Century, we have given Chinthurst the feeling of luxury and elegance the house deserves, and yet add to that the 21st Century necessities today's traveller demands with all rooms being en suite.

Skipton is a desirable year round destination hosting many popular events such as the Dickensian and Medieval Festivals in winter or the summertime Waterways Festival, Sheep Day and Farmers Market.
There is an array of different restaurants and bars, traditional and contemporary to suite all tastes and pockets. They have all been sampled at various times by us and we will be only too happy to share our experiences with you. All of these are within a 5 minute walk and many more a short drive away.
Whilst visiting Skipton and the Dales, you can explore the Market (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday) Skipton Castle, Bolton Abbey, Embsay Steam Railway (is Thomas in town), all a 'must see'. But of course Grassington, Kettlewell (Setting for film Calendar Girls) Emmerdale Country, Farmers Markets, Dickensian Festival, Scarecrows, Haworth the list goes on and on are all nearby. Hazel or Phil will be happy to advise on an itinerary for the day or whatever your time allows.
