Enjoy one of the many walking trails and explore the rainforest floor. Visit the Daintree Rainforest Aerial Walkway and Canopy Tower where you’ll see unique plants and wildlife high up in the rainforest canopy. Or enjoy a river cruise along the Daintree River where you’ll see many inhabitants - estuarine crocodiles, snakes and water birds - in the mangrove-lined riverbanks.

The Wet Tropics rainforest surrounding Cape Tribulation is stunning! It’s 135 million years old, and you’ll feel like you’ve stepped back to a land before time! Cape Kimberly and Cow Bay are excellent locations to explore the areas where the rainforest literally meets the reef! Or perhaps, you’d like to venture out to the reef either by sailing, kayaking or on a cruise boat - you’ll be swimming and snorkelling in the crystal blue waters in no time.

While staying in your Cape Tribulation resort enjoy a day trip to historic Cooktown (where Cook spent 47 days repairing his ship after running aground on the reef). Cape Tribulation is also a fantastic location to sit back and enjoy the beautiful landscapes and laze in the sun.
