Drive 7 kilometres to historic Bangalow village. Fabulous Bangalow market is on the 4th Sunday of every month; in a beautiful setting in the heart of Bangalow it has evolved into one of the must-see markets of the North Coast. Bangalow itself is also becoming more and more popular with its heritage buildings, classy restaurants and cafe scene, fabulous antique and individual style shops for that unusual gift or curiosity.
Drive 7 kilometres to Byron Bay and the beaches. Whale watching gets better every year, dolphins abound, the snorkelling just off local beaches is a personal recommendation as well. Not to mention the ever-expanding shopping, the arts and industrial estate is well worth exploring. The hills around Byron are peppered with galleries and cafe's.
Find yourself a waterfall or two.
Crystal Castle & Macadamia Castle are great for the little ones.
Did I mention the brilliant Byron market which is the 1st sunday of each month. There are the beaches for surfing, restauarants, galleries, pubs, golf ... the list goes on and on, something for everyone, or quiet spaces if you need to just chill.
