Originally a pair of Victorian semi-detached houses that have been sympathetically converted into this attractive, comfortable and relaxed hotel in Newbold, a residential area of Chesterfield. Nick and Tina Buckingham are well known for their warm and friendly hotel, which specialises in superlative food. Chesterfield town centre is five minutes walk away; here you can find the famous Crooked Spire of its parish church. Chesterfield is also home to one of the largest open-air markets in the country. You can browse around more than 200 stalls every Monday, Friday and Saturday all year round, whilst on Thursday you can rummage in the popular flea market. For the professional shopper there is always the Meadowhall complex, Chesterfield is situated on the edge of the Peak National Park with some of the most spectacular and beautiful scenery in England.
