Set in a quiet location opposite the beach and south of the marina at Urangan, the Boat Harbour Resort consists of 16 holiday beautifully presented & clean studio units suitable for 2-3 persons overnight or longer. For larger family groups we offer accommodation of 2-3 bedroom villas. All are individually decorated and fully self-contained with large decks: the perfect spot to breakfast or indulge in an evening beverage. The swimming pool and the two BBQ areas welcome family groups.

The resort overlooks World Heritage Listed Fraser Island. A wide variety of tours depart daily from the Marina.
Dolphin watch tours operate out of whale season and fishing charters are available all year round.
For your convenience the office has full Tour booking facilities for Whale Watch Boats, Fraser Island and Lady Elliot Island.

- Comfortable
- Shower screen lets water out. Ominous notices about leaving the unit clean. Noise travels in the timber building.
- Easy walk to the Boat Club and harbour restaurants
The shower screen is a recent addition. Prior to that it had nothing and the floor became very wet [wheelchair accessible unit]. This is only in this particular unit and not sure how it can be completely solved. Additional bath mats may help. RE notice There's only 1 small note above the sink about doing the dishes; this kind of sign is found in many self catering apartments. Sorry if you were offended by it.

What a pity you didn't let us know about this as sometimes it's easily sorted.. I'm sure it's not throughout the building as pressure is good; it may be just a fitting that needs changing or cleaning out.

- The look and feel of the cabin style exterior was a nice change to your standard hotel feel. Felt like I was on a vacation while on a work trip.
- Stair climb was not anticipated with heavy luggage. Where's the lift!
- Very friendly and helpful service. Nothing too much trouble
Sorry but this building couldn't have a lift after all these years....does Kingfisher Resort have a lift? Please let us know next time and we will put you in a ground floor front unit or we can help you with your luggage, you just need to let us know.

- Very quiet location
- Far from everything other than the harbour
- It was a nice enough looking timber place and i liked the room with a good sized balcony. Floor boards are very creaky and noisy.
We make no apologies for where we are located; a peaceful setting near the harbour away from night revellers with plenty of room for boats and trailers. Hervey Bay is very spread out and has no real CBD other than strip development..
