Built in 1870 to house the first Anglican Bishop of Bathurst, Bishop's Court Estate is a two-storey Victorian mansion that has been superbly restored to its former glory. The property is set on an acre of parkland and is steeped in local history. You can almost hear choral sounds of yester year as you wander through the grand chapel, which now provides a splendid setting for intimate weddings, lively cocktail parties or events that demand somewhere special.

There�s also harness racing, fly fishing, golf, tennis, lovely small villages (such as Hill End, Safala, Rockley or Taranar) flying (joy flights or lessons), gliding, Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre (with fabulous shows and acts), the famous Mount Panorama racetrack, the Sommerville collection of fossils, Abercrombie House, Chifley House and fishing in the famous fish river. Bathurst is only a short drive to Carcour, Millthorpe, Orange or Mudgee.
Enjoy a fabulous experience with a cooking class in the Bishop's Court Delizioso cooking and barista school where you can choose from a wide range of classes including "Secret Women�s Business", "Italian al fresco in the Vineyard", "Lusciously French with Legall", "Men in the Kitchen", Asian "Spice It Up", "From Farm to Plate", "Sensational Chocolate" and "The Good Drop". These classes are run by our in-house taste sensation Christine Le Fevre and also with some of our own local chefs and taste partners offering you a truly unique experience. We also have a wonderful "aroma coffee" barista class which is run by a sensational local coffee roaster Mr Peter Harrison of "Fish River Roasters Coffee" who will take you through the history of coffee and show you the magical black art of making that perfect coffee. Our cooking and coffee experiences are ideal for our corporate guests as they are a great team building exercise.
