Anglesea is at the start of the Great Ocean Road, between Torquay and Lorne. The township has an attractive Village setting for shopping, browsing and eating! The river meanders through the centre of town creating grassy banks ideal for picnics, barbecues, paddle boats, walking and great Markets over the Summer.

Many a ship came to grief along this coastline including the "Inverlochy".

We boast fabulous safe swimming and surf beaches, numerous walking trails, professional learn to Surf Schools and a Championship Golf Course with resident Kangaroos.

The cliffs, walks and all types of native vegetation and birdlife are very much appreciated in Anglesea and enjoyed by all our Visitors. Even a stroll along the beach on a cold, wet and miserable winter's day is so exhilarating.

Our Guests can enjoy a drive to Erskine Falls, 30 minutes down the great Ocean Road near Lorne,or they can continue on to the wonderful, new Otway Treetop Walk, more waterfalls, and the world renowned Twelve Apostles. Bells Beach, where the World Surfing Classic is held is just 10 minutes away.

For the youngsters Point Roadknight beach is a popular spot for swimming, exploring rock pools and watching the crabs scuttle away under rocks!
Horse riding at Blazing Saddles, Aireys Inlet, is just 20 minute drive from Anglesea.
Aireys Inlet lighthouse is now open for inspections. Tours are operated by Eco Logic, Anglesea.
Cinemas are at Lorne (25 mins) or Waurn Ponds
20 mins).
'Geelong Waterfront', Ferris Wheel and fabulous Botanic Gardens are just 40 minutes and on the way you could drop into a winery....
for a drop or two!
