February each years sees AMERICARNA come to New Plymouth with 100's of fabulous classic American cars parading the streets and on display.
The World Triathlon series comes to New Plymouth every year and will be held in April 2009.
Our famous Festival of the Lights begins on 13th December with numerous evening music concerts in Pukekura Park until the middle of February.
Mid March is the NZ Surf Lifesaving Champs.
New Plymouth is the chosen venue every year for WOMAD - World of Music Arts & Dance. Next date for this is March 14 15 & 16 2009.
