Go to Magnetic Island for the day. Ferries leave from 5.30am each hour till 11.30pm. Reef trips are also popular - dive on Yongala Reef. Go cattle mustering, sky diving, visit The Billabong Sanctuary, Reef HQ, Museum of Tropical Queensland, to name a few or just go for a stroll along the famous Townsville Strand. Take the children for a swim at the rock pool or relax at Riverway.
