Aotearoa Lodge & Tours is situated on two and a half acres of tranquil gardens and within a five minute stroll to beautiful Buffalo Beach. A perfect base to explore Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach, New Chums Beach and other popular bays. A base for nature walks, kauri tree walks. There are many activities in the area from boat charters, fishing, golf, paint ball, High zone ropes course, horse treks, golf, hot spa, helicopter adventures, animal park, bird park, too numerous to name.
The lodge offers 11 studios and three self contained units.

Aotearoa Lodge & Tours offers the perfect base to explore the whole of the Coromandel Peninsula. Spend one day or many visiting our special places. From Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove, Hahei, Shakespeares Cliff, Mercury Bay, Coroglen, Wharekaho, Kuaotunu, Matarangi, Opito Bay, Otama Beach, New Chums Beach to Coromandel town and places further north. Mercury Bay offers plenty of aquatic activities from sailing, boat charters, kayaking, windsurfing through to snorkeling on the Cathedral Cove Scenic Cruises boat charter. Golf, Horse riding. High Zone ropes course, golf to lovely bush walks to magnificent Kauri trees and more!
