Manoir Ambrose is situated on the slope of Mount Royal in the center of downtown Montreal. Two old victorian houses built in the late 1900's have been transformed in an hotel with 22 very charming and comfortable rooms well equiped and renovated in 2005. All the rooms offer all the commodities, some with fireplaces, and high speed wireless internet access in available throughout the hotel. Each room can accomodate 2 to 4 persons with ample space and private bathroom, a cot can be added in some room to accomodate children.

Montreal is a very lively city in summer and in winter. Festivals are numerous and all have street activites which are free as well as special shows which must be reserved in advance.
The International Montreal Jazz Festival (www.montrealjazzfest.com) and Just for Laughs (www.hahaha.com) are late June and beginning of July, F1 racing (wwwformula1.com)in the middle of June, Montreal High Lights Festival (www.montrealenlumiere.com) late February are just some examples of what Montreal offers.
Festivities which are all very easily accessible from the Manoir Ambrose. Being right in the downcore of Montreal you can walk to a vast variety of restaurants, clubs and the Bell Center for a hockey game or a special show
If you want o shop, the best shopping area is the underground - 10 miles of shopping galeries only 2 minutes from the hotel. Theaters and museums are also easily accessible either by walking or by the subway only 300 meters form the hotel.
A visit to the Old Montreal City is also a must and is directly accessed also by the subway.
